Project 8p Foundation is a nonprofit biotech organization established in late 2018. We are dedicated to researching 8p disorders to uncover treatment options and provide meaningful answers to affected individuals and their families. As a patient-led, open-science organization, Project 8p prioritizes collaboration, transparency, and resource sharing to fulfill its mission. Currently, there is no cure for 8p disorders, nor is there a standard treatment protocol. Project 8p is committed to translating research into therapies and scaling our learnings to address other complex neurological chromosome diseases.
The Development Manager will proactively work to support the mission to empower a unified community for chromosome 8p heroes for a meaningful life today while accelerating treatments for tomorrow. This role requires both internal and external responsibilities, including donor cultivation and community engagement with strong project management abilities. Performance metrics will include prospects numbers, call numbers, solicitation, and stewardship outcomes.
